Save the Date! 

The 36th Annual ASHRAE Golf Tournament will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club. 

Registration will open January, 2024. 

Message from the Research Promotion Committee:

Thank you Hawaii Chapter! If you made an outright donation or participated in one of our events, thank you. We had tremendous support this past year, and together, were able to raise $29,711! Our Chapter, comprised of 242 dues paying members, was able to raise $9,710 above our Region assigned goal of $20,000.

I am very appreciative of the dedication, time and hard work that our volunteers put in to making the Research and Promotion events a success. I'd like to personally recognize the golf committee, comprised of Tara Lum and Brandon Spalla for organizing the 35th Annual ASHRAE Golf Tournament. The event was a hot ticket, as it was sold out within 3 weeks of launch, 4 months prior to the outing. I know that the team is already busy working on planning this coming year's event and initial inkling says it will be better than the last.

Since 2018, our Chapter has been dedicating a lot of resources to developing Hawaii's future generation of Engineers. The ASHRAE Kokua Scholarship Fund was created to provide students with Hawaii ties, a scholarship to pursue a degree within the HVACR industry. To date, the fund has awarded five individuals a total of $5,500.

This will be my 6th year as Research and Promotion Chair for the Hawaii Chapter. I remain hungry and committed to serving this Chapter with excellence and with the highest ethical integrity. I look forward to growing on the foundation we've laid and bringing this Chapter to new heights.

We have a great year planned, and I can't wait to celebrate with you all at our upcoming ASHRAE Hawaii Chapter 36th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, May 3, 2024. The tournament will be held at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club. Registration will open in January 2024.
